Finland's Ministry of Finance has announced a public consultation on a proposed increase in the mining tax on minerals extracted in Finland. This includes an increase in the tax rate from 0.6% to 2.5% on the taxable value of the metal contained in ore, which would be confirmed annually by the Tax Administration.
