France Announces Possible Three-Month Extension for Payment of Property Tax

The French Ministry of Economy and Finance has announced a possible extension of the property tax payment deadline for companies affected by administrative measures restricting activity for COVID-19. Originally due on 15 October 2020, affected companies may request an extension of the due date by up to three months. The announcement also notes that SMEs particularly affects by the COVID-19 crisis may apply for a tax settlement plan allowing for the payment of taxes over a three-year period.
