The French tax authority has announced an extension of the deadline for filing annual individual tax returns in paper format because some taxpayers received their pre-filled 2021 tax returns in paper format significantly later than in previous years. Due to this delay in receiving their returns, the deadline for filing in paper format has been extended to 31 May 2022. It is also noted that the schedule for submitting online returns is not changed.
