French Finance Minister Michel Sapin presented the 2017 budget plan to the National Assembly on 28 September 2016. The main tax-related measure of the budget plan is the introduction of a reduced corporate tax rate of 28%, which will apply for SMEs beginning in 2017 on taxable income between EUR 38,120 and EUR 75,000 (15% rate applies for income up to EUR 38,120).
