On 21 November 2017, the French National Assembly completed the first round of discussions on the Finance Bill for 2018 ({News-2017-09-28/P/3-previous coverage}), which now goes to the Senate with amendments. Of the measure originally proposed, one change is with respect to the repeal of the rules limiting the deduction of interest expenses (the Carrez rule).
