Gabon Changes Certain Aspects of New Special Solidarity Contribution

The Gabon government has reportedly agreed to certain changes with regard to the implementation of the country's new special solidarity contribution (CSS), which was introduced as part of the Finance Law for 2017 ({News-2017-02-14/A/4- previous coverage}). The CSS will be levied at a rate of 1% on sales of companies deriving gross income in excess of XAF 30 million. Changes agreed to include:
