The German Ministry of Finance has announced on its COVID-19 support web page that the deadline for the 2019 calendar year for tax returns prepared by tax advisors will be extended by six months, with the required legal basis to be passed in March 2021. With the extension, tax returns for 2019 can be submitted up to 31 August 2021.
