On 5 December 2009, the government presented to the parliament a detailed tax proposal with regard to direct taxes as part of the Budget for 2010. The Budget Bill was presented to the parliament, but did not include any specifics regarding proposed tax amendments. The detailed proposal with regard to indirect taxes was presented to the parliament on 24 November. The proposal on direct taxes entails the following amendments:
