The Greek Public Revenue Authority has published Circular E.2083 of 17 May 2019 on changes in the scope of goods and services subject to the 13% and 6% reduced VAT rates. For goods, this includes:

  • The scope of the reduced 13% VAT rate is extended to certain foodstuffs including, among others, all pastas, fish and crustaceans, breads, coffee, tea, juices, fruits and vegetables, salt, vinegar, various food preparations based on cereals, flours, and starches, and preparations for sauces, soups…
