As previously reported, Greece has extended several VAT reductions until 30 June 2022, including the reduced VAT rate of 13% for passenger transport, coffee and non-alcoholic beverages, cinema, tourist packages, gyms, etc. In addition, Greece has extended the reduced VAT rate of 6% until 30 June 2022 for products needed for protection from COVID-19 and to prevent its transmission, including medical masks and gloves, soap, antiseptics, and ethyl alcohol (for production of antiseptics).
