Greece Raises VAT Registration Threshold for Resident Small-Scale Suppliers

According to recent reports, Greece has raised the VAT registration threshold from annual turnover of €5,000 to €10,000 for resident companies. The change is meant to support small business in Greece.

There are no VAT registration thresholds for non-residents making supplies in Greece, aside from the €35,000 threshold for distance sales (sale of goods between EU countries to non-taxable consumers - B2C).
