On 25 October 2022, Greece published in the Official Gazette the law for the ratification of the new income tax treaty with France. The treaty, signed 11 May 2022, will enter into force the day after the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force. Once in force and effective, the new treaty will replace the 1963 tax treaty between the two countries.
