North Macedonia's Ministry of Finance issued a release on 11 February 2022 announcing that North Macedonia and Greece will undertake joint measures aimed at advancing economic cooperation and trade, as well as investment protection. Among other things, this includes advancing progress in the signing of an income tax treaty. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
