According to an update to Guernsey’s policy on Tax Information Exchange Agreements and Double Taxation Arrangements, Guernsey is negotiating amending protocols to its tax treaties with the Isle of Man, Jersey, and Qatar. The treaties are being amended bilaterally for BEPS purposes, rather than being covered tax agreements under the BEPS Multilateral Instrument. The protocols must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
