The Guyanese Cabinet of Ministers has approved the signing of an income tax treaty with the United Arab Emirates, according to a release published on 16 May by the Guyanese government.
The countries reached agreement on a draft text in September 2018. This would be the first tax treaty concluded between Guyana and the UAE. It must be signed and ratified by both contracting parties before entering into force.
