The Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department (IRD) has announced the issuance of 2024/25 individual tax returns on 2 May 2025. The standard filing deadline for individuals to file their tax return is 2 June 2025, with a deadline of 2 August 2025 for sole proprietors. In either case, a one-month extension is provided for returns filed electronically. The IRD also published information on using "iAM Smart+" to submit tax returns online.
