According to a release from the Kyrgyzstan Ministry of Economy, officials from Hungary and Kyrgyzstan met on 10 to 13 December 2019 for negotiations on an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
