The U.S. IRS has announced tax relief for individuals and businesses affected by hurricanes Helene and Milton, including an extension to 1 May 2025 for 2023 tax returns and for 2024 tax returns and payment. 2023 tax payments are not eligible for the extension. The IRS has also issued a separate release on the extension of hurricane Milton relief to individuals and businesses in all of Florida.
