On 31 March 2020, Iceland published Law No. 25/2020 in the Official Gazette. The Law includes certain relief measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
One of the main measures is the deferral of the payment of tax withheld on salary by employers facing significant operational difficulties in 2020 due to COVID-19.
