The President of the Finance Commission of the National Assembly announced the increase in value of the tax unit (TU) for the tax year of 2010 from VEF 55 to VEF 66. Amounts in tax laws (including tax brackets and penalties) are adjusted on a yearly basis as they are generally expressed in TU.
It is expected that a resolution will be published shortly in the Official Gazette enforcing the adjustment.
