The Finance Commission of the National Assembly approved the increase in value of the tax unit (TU) for
the tax year of 2011 from VEF 65 to VEF 76. Amounts in tax laws, (including brackets for taxes, stamp
duties and penalties) are adjusted on a yearly basis as they are generally expressed in TU.
The adjustment will be enforced upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
