In addition to further extending the GST return deadlines for the month of July ({News-2017-09-11/A/3-previous coverage}), India has also extended the possible use of the simplified GST return (Form GSTR-3B) until the month of December 2017. Initially, the simplified form was to be used only for the months of July and August. These and other transitional GST changes were approved by the GST Council on 9 September and listed out in a release from the Ministry of Finance.
