India to Revise Tax Treaty with Qatar

According to a release issued by India's Press Information Bureau, the Indian Cabinet has approved the revision of the 1999 tax treaty with Qatar. The revisions will include updated provisions on exchange of information and limitation of benefits and other changes to bring the treaty in line with the minimum standards of BEPS Action 6 (Preventing Treaty Abuse).
