According to a release from Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Indonesian President Joko Widodo met on 8 October 2019 for the Singapore-Indonesia Leaders’ Retreat. During the meeting, the leaders agreed to make progress to update the 1990 income tax treaty between the two countries.
