Officials from Indonesia and South Korea met on 21 February 2024 to discuss the strengthening of bilateral cooperation, including revisions to update the 1988 tax treaty between the two countries. Any resulting revisions would be the first to amend the treaty and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
