Iran to Negotiate Tax Treaties with Japan, Lithuania, and Sweden

On 18 February 2018, Iran's Council of Ministers authorized the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance to begin negotiations for income tax treaties with Japan, Lithuania, and Sweden. Any resulting treaties would be the first of their kind between Iran and the respective countries, and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
