The Government of Iraq has announced that the Cabinet approved the pending income tax treaty with Saudi Arabia during its regular meeting held on 6 August 2019. The treaty, signed 17 April 2019, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged. Details of the treaty will be published once available.
