Iraq's Council of Ministers has announced that it authorized the Ministry of Finance on 4 November 2020 to negotiate and sign income tax treaties with India and Turkey. Any resulting treaties would be the first of their kind between Iraq and the respective countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
