Ireland's Department of Finance has announced the launch of the Digital Games Tax Credit. As previously reported, the 32% tax credit was included as part of the Finance Act 2021 for the 2022 Budget and was approved by the European Commission in September 2022. With the launch of the tax credit, developers of certified digital games will be able to apply for remuneration under the credit from 1 January 2023.
