Israel has published a notice on updated real estate acquisition tax brackets/rates for 2020. For non-individuals (and individuals not acquiring a single dwelling) the brackets/rates are as follows:
- up to ILS 5,340,425 - 8%
- over ILS 5,340,425 - 10%
For individuals acquiring a single residential dwelling, more progressive rates apply that range from 0% up to 10% where the price exceeds ILS 17,794,305.
