On 4 July 2018, officials from Israel and Serbia concluded additional negotiations for an income tax treaty that was initialed in 2016 but required further amendment to align it with the latest OECD Model Convention. The treaty will be the first of its kind between to the two countries, and must be signed and ratified before entering into force.
