Italian Council of Ministers Approves Pending Tax Treaty with Libya

On 14 April 2021, the Italian Council of Ministers approved the law for the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with Libya. The treaty, signed 10 June 2009, is the first of its kind between the two countries. It will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
