On 27 June 2023, the Italian Senate approved the law for the ratification of the pending protocol to the 1982 social security agreement with Monaco. The protocol, signed 10 May 2021, is the first to amend the agreement and includes amendments for the introduction of provisions regarding teleworking for employees who work in the Principality and live in Italy, and vice versa.
