Italy has published Law No 234 of 30 December 2021 on the State Budget for 2022 and the multi-year budget for 2022-2024. Some of the main tax measures of the law are summarized as follows:
- The number of income tax brackets is reduced from five to four as follows, with reduced rates for the middle brackets:
- up to EUR 15,000 - 23% (unchanged)
- over EUR 15,000 up to 28,000 - 25% (reduced from 27%)
