The Finance Department of Italy's Ministry of Economy and Finance issued a release on 5 August 2020 concerning the deferral of the deadline for the reporting of financial account information in respect of 2019, due to COVID-19. The deadline is being deferred to 30 September 2020 as provided by a Ministerial Decree that was signed on 22 July 2020 and is being published in the Official Gazette. This applies in relation to reporting for FATCA, DAC2, and CRS.
