On 24 October 2014, Italy published the law ratifying the protocol to the 1981 income and capital tax treaty with Luxembourg and exchange of notes. The protocol, signed 21 June 2012, updates the treaty to bring it in line with the OECD standard for information exchange. The accompanying notes establish procedures for requesting information.
