Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) recently issued a Technical Advisory on how the increase in the annual income tax threshold for individuals is administered. The increase was announced as part of the 2025/2026 budget for the Years 2025 through 2028. The annual income tax threshold is increased from JMD 1,700,088 to:
- JMD 1,799,376 from 1 April 2025
- JMD 1,902,360 from 1 April 2026
- JMD 2,003,496 from 1 April 2027
