Jamaica's Ministry of Finance has issued a release on the Fiscal Stimulus Response to COVID-19. One of the main tax measures of the response is a reduction in the General Consumption Tax (GCT) rate from 16.5% to 15.0%. Although not specified in the release, the reduction is to be effective from 1 April 2020.
