The Jamaican government is reportedly planning to introduce a Qualified Domestic Minimum Top-up Tax (QDMTT) in line with the Pillar 2 Global Minimum Tax rules. A QDMTT is a domestic minimum tax imposed by a jurisdiction on Constituent Entities of an MNE Group that are resident, or constitute a permanent establishment in, that jurisdiction.
