Japan's Ministry of Finance has issued a notice regarding the application of the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (MLI) to the 1983 tax treaty with China and the 2010 tax treaty with Hong Kong. Summaries on the application of the MLI to the Japan-China tax treaty and the Japan-Hong Kong tax treaty have also been published.
