Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that officials from Japan and Poland have agreed in principle on a social security agreement following the second round of negotiations held from 9 to 13 September 2024. The agreement will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be signed and ratified before entering into force.
