Japan and Tunisia Looking to Conclude Tax Treaty Negotiations

According to recent reports, officials from Japan and Tunisia met from 4 to 5 May 2025 to discuss the strengthening of bilateral cooperation, including the need to conclude negotiations for an income tax treaty. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
