Kazakhstan Adopts List of IT Goods Eligible for VAT Exemption on Import by Astana Hub Participants

Kazakhstan has adopted Order No. 281/НK of 2 June 2026, which approves the list of goods whose import is exempt from VAT for taxpayers that are participants in the Astana Hub international technology park.

The exemption applies subject to the concurrent satisfaction of the following conditions:

• The imported goods are included in the approved list;
• The import is documented in accordance with the customs legislation of Kazakhstan and/or the Eurasian Economic Union; and
