The Kazakhstan government has published a draft resolution for consultation on the signing of an amending protocol to the 1999 income and capital tax treaty with Switzerland. The protocol includes certain amendments in line with the BEPS MLI, including a new article on entitlement to benefits. The protocol will be the second to amend the treaty and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
