According to recent reports, Kazakhstan has approved a reduction in the VAT registration threshold from 30,000 MCI to 20,000 MCI with effect from 1 January 2022. The MCI (Monthly Calculation Index) is currently set at KZT 2,917 for 2021 and is generally increased annually.
