Kenya's National Treasury has issued a public notice requesting comments on the pending income tax treaty with China. The treaty, signed 21 September 2017, is the first of its kind between the two countries. It will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force. Comments on the treaty are due by 24 September 2022.
