On April 21st, 2014, the Budget and Finances Committee of the Kyrgyzstani parliament approved for signature a draft income tax treaty between Kyrgyzstan and the United Arab Emirates. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries.
Negotiations for the treaty began in January 2013, and once finalized and signed, will enter into force after the exchange of ratification instruments.
