On 20 December 2018, the Supreme Council (parliament) of Kyrgyzstan adopted the law for the ratification of the pending social security agreement with Turkey. The agreement, signed 9 April 2018, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
