Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Japarov has signed Law No. 136 of 10 July 2025 to establish a Special Financial and Investment Territory called "Tamchy", which enters into force on 25 July 2025. The Tamchy territory will be located in the Issyk-Kul region and is meant to attract investment with a 49-year income tax exemption for residents in the area.
