Kyrgyzstan Looking to Negotiate Tax Treaty with Israel

According to a release from Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, officials from Israel and Kyrgyzstan met on 10 April 2022. During the meeting, Kyrgyzstan's ambassador to Israel noted the need to develop cooperation between the two countries, including through the negotiation and signing of an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
